As this is my first photography post on the blog, I would like to
share a few shots I took and am proud of. I will be combining both January and
February together and then from this post onwards, every month will have its
own post for my favourite shots I took for that particular month.
I recently got my Sony A6400 as it had been well over a decade since I
owned a proper camera. I used to have many film cameras and a Canon 400D DSLR
back in my late teens and early twenties, until unfortunately the house we
rented was so thick with mould it ruined all of them, plus I was a teenager, I
didn't know HOW to look after a camera properly so sensor cleaning etc was not
known to me. I couldn't afford to get someone to repair/look at all of them so
I ended up selling them for way less than they were worth to a local camera
shop who said they could fix them and get them back on the shelves and if I
couldn't put them to good use/care for them at the time, someone else could
get as much enjoyment out of them as I did.
Fast forward to now, I'm 33 and I had been itching to get back into
Photography and the urge called even more seeing my wonderful MIL's travel
pictures from Europe with her Sony Alpha (I think she has an A7 series?) and
seeing what Mirrorless cameras are capable of, I decided it was finally the
right time.
I'm planning to use the camera to help get myself out of the house and
to allow myself to be creative indoors even when I can't physically manage
going out there's always something to take pictures of. Even if it's from my
garden window or of my pets!
Now with all that said, let's share some shots!
